Daytime Training Programs

Youth/Advanced Daytime Program

For serious dancers ages 13 and under

The Youth/Advanced Daytime Program is designed for dedicated young dancers seeking focused technical training in classical ballet. Dancers may enroll in a two- or three-day-per-week option.

 

Each training day includes a minimum of 1.5 hours of classical ballet technique, followed by a carefully structured combination of Pilates, yoga, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and plyometric fusion exercises. Dancers use professional training equipment, including resistance bands, stability balls, and Cubix, to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, proper alignment, and healthy movement patterns.

 

Additional training includes:

  • Pointe preparation and pointe technique

  • Repertoire and variations

  • Pas de Deux twice per week

  • Conditioning and flexibility

  • Musicality, artistry, and performance development

 

This program provides young dancers with the strong technical foundation, discipline, and physical preparation needed to advance in classical ballet.

Advanced/Pre-Professional Daytime Program

For serious dancers ages 14 and older

The Advanced/Pre-Professional Daytime Program is designed for committed dancers who are preparing for a professional career in ballet. Dancers may enroll in a two-, three-, or five-day-per-week training option.

 

Each day includes rigorous, conservatory-style training with two-hour classical ballet technique classes, floor barre, fundamental ballet barre, pointe, and specialized Balanchine-style training.

 

The curriculum also includes:

  • Pas de Deux twice per week

  • Repertoire and variations

  • Contemporary dance

  • Modern dance

  • Character dance

  • Pilates, yoga, PBT, and plyometric fusion

  • Strength, flexibility, conditioning, and injury-prevention exercises

 

Professional training equipment is incorporated throughout the program to improve flexibility, strength, stability, coordination, and overall movement quality.

 

This comprehensive program is designed to prepare dancers technically, artistically, and physically for ballet competitions, auditions, summer intensives, trainee programs, and professional dance careers.

Evening Training Programs

Designed for dancers attending traditional school, our Evening Training Programs provide exceptional classical ballet instruction for students who wish to continue pursuing the art of dance or supplement their current dance training. Programs are structured to build strong technical foundations while developing artistry, strength, discipline, and confidence.

Intermediate Program
 

Recommended for elementary-aged dancers

Offered two days per week, with 1.5-hour classes, this program is ideal for young dancers looking to establish proper classical ballet technique and strong fundamentals. Training focuses on correct placement, musicality, coordination, flexibility, strength, and artistry, providing an excellent foundation for future advancement in ballet or any style of dance.

Advanced Program
 

For experienced dancers training en pointe

Offered two days per week, with 2-hour classes, this program is designed for dancers who have already begun pointe work and are ready to further refine their technique. Students receive comprehensive training in classical ballet, pointe, conditioning, artistry, flexibility, and performance quality while continuing to build the strength and precision required for advanced ballet training.

Pre-Professional / Professional Program

For our most advanced dancers

Offered one day per week for 2.5 hours, this intensive program is designed to supplement the training of serious pre-professional and professional-level dancers. Classes emphasize advanced classical ballet technique, pointe, artistry, musicality, conditioning, and performance development. This program provides additional coaching and individualized attention to help dancers continue refining their technique and artistic expression while preparing for competitions, summer intensives, auditions, and professional opportunities.

Saturday Morning Program

Our Saturday Morning Program is designed to introduce our youngest dancers to the beauty and discipline of classical ballet in a fun, nurturing, and encouraging environment. Through imaginative instruction and age-appropriate curriculum, dancers develop coordination, musicality, confidence, creativity, and a love for dance while learning proper ballet fundamentals.

Baby Ballerinas

Ages 2–4

Our 1-hour Baby Ballerina Class introduces little dancers to the magical world of ballet through creative movement, music, basic ballet positions, coordination exercises, and imaginative activities. This class helps build confidence, listening skills, balance, and a lifelong love for dance.

Beginner Ballet

Ages 5-6

Our 1-hour Beginner Ballet Class is the perfect next step for young dancers ready to begin formal classical ballet training. Students are introduced to proper ballet terminology, technique, posture, musicality, flexibility, and coordination while developing the discipline and strong technical foundation necessary for future advancement.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for dancers seeking individualized instruction and personalized coaching.

 

Whether the goal is to improve technique, prepare for competitions, auditions, summer intensives, pointe work, or refine specific skills, one-on-one training allows each lesson to be tailored to the individual dancer's needs and goals.

 

Rate: $150 per hour

Virtual Classes

The Art of Classical Ballet is proud to offer Virtual Ballet Classes, bringing professional classical ballet training directly from our studio to you.

 

Designed for dancers who are unable to train with us in person, our virtual program provides the opportunity to continue developing classical technique, strength, artistry, and proper placement under the guidance of our experienced faculty.

 

Dancers may choose flexible drop-in classes or take advantage of our monthly unlimited training options.

 

Classes are available for Youth, Advanced, and Pre-Professional levels, allowing serious dancers to supplement their current training or stay connected to AoCB from anywhere.
